Meet Mark!

Over the past few months, we have been fortunate enough to have some new faces join our team and support our cause. They each are going to bring something new and exciting to the table and as those changes happen, we will introduce you to the member behind the work.  Have you noticed that our website has been going through some changes lately? These changes are thanks to Mark, our newest web designer.

Mark Harris

Mark, a meticulous web developer and passionate graphic designer, learned about the wonderful organization that is the Hearts of Hope Foundation after meeting Rebecca Lawlor through a mutual friend. It didn't take long for him to develop an interest in the cause after speaking with Rebecca so he decided to share his technical and visual skills by breathing life into the online presence of this organization. In this digital age there isn't a more effective way to educate people about abuse than through the use of an interactive and visually-compelling online campaign, and Mark is extremely excited to lend his talents for this cause.

Make sure to check out our website in the next few weeks to see what Mark is up to!

Since our last post...

In the past couple of months, many exciting things have been happening for Rebecca, the Hearts of Hope Foundation, and for Rebecca Lawlor Limited. We are excited to announce that we have created a new Facebook fan page for the Hearts of Hope Foundation. This page will be used to spread awareness for the prevention of abuse and let all of our fans and supporters know how the Hearts of Hope mission is going. In addition to this new page, we have opened a store on our Rebecca Lawlor Limited Facebook page! Now, you can purchase your favorite Rebecca Lawlor Limited pieces right from Facebook by clicking on our Shop Now tab

In addition to all of this news, we have something else very exciting to announce...

As friends, acquaintances, family, and colleagues can already attest to, Rebecca Lawlor is one of the most beautiful women inside and out. If you needed anymore proof than that, pick up the April edition of Hampton Roads Magazine. Rebecca Lawlor Limited is proud to announce that our CEO and founder of the Hearts of Hope Foundation graces the cover as one of the Hampton Roads ten most beautiful women of 2012.

Rebecca had the honor of joining the group filled with teachers, business owners, marathon runners, musicians, dedicated mothers, and above all else, inspiring women. The women were nominated by those who they have touched, inspired, and enhanced. While each woman has undoubtable outward beauty, their true allure can be seen in their motivations and inspirations read in their interviews. For a full documentation of the interviews, you can go to the Hampton Roads Magazine website found here

Rebecca responded to this honor with gratitude and excitement by saying: "I am proud to share this honor with such wonderful role models, selfless women who are very much in touch with their inner purpose. As much as this means for me personally, I'm even more excited for the awareness this will bring to the worthy mission of the Hearts of Hope Foundation. Truly, in all ways, each heart helps."

We hope that you will find inspiration in Rebecca, this group of amazing women, and ultimately our mission to end abuse because "truly, in all ways, each heart helps".

Rebecca arrived in Tulsa, Oklahoma safely Friday morning after the amazing show Thursday night in Omaha, Nebraska. Rebecca expressed how awe-inspiring each act was and how excited she is for Friday’s show. Tulsa was more than thrilled to have Oklahoma native, Reba McEntire, and the “All the Women I Am” tour in town. Rebecca Lawlor Limited was more than excited to be included in this event and share it’s mission with the welcoming people of Oklahoma!
A peek at
 the vibe room

While Meghan Linsey of Steel Magnolia, Reba McEntire, The Band Perry, and Eden’s Edge were preparing to take the stage in front of their Tulsa fans, Rebecca was setting up the vibe room for the artists. Without fail, Rebecca once again created a vibe room that not only characterizes the “All the Women I Am” tour artists, but also creates an unforgettable experience for their visiting fans.

With each tour date, Rebecca is able to reach more people while potentially changing lives with the mission of the Hearts of Hope foundation. Tonight will be another amazing opportunity for Rebecca to share her mission to promote education of the prevention of abuse.

Tonight, Rebecca is in Wichita, Kansas with the tour. The show is currently underway and it’s looking to be another remarkable night! Tomorrow, Rebecca will be heading home with this leg of the tour coming to the end. Remember, the excitement never ends for Rebecca so make sure to check back on this blog and the official Rebecca Lawlor Limited Facebook and Twitter for more updates on the action.

Where is your heart?

Thursday, November 3, 2011

After two days on tour,  Rebecca returned home to switch out suitcases and gather more hearts before hitting the road again. She spent yesterday travelling, only to leave the beautiful fall weather of Virginia and land in the frigid temperatures of Omaha, Nebraska. Today has been another busy day for Rebecca as she prepares for tonight’s show at the Qwest Center. Tonight, Meghan Linsey and Steel Magnolia, Reba McEntire, The Band Perry, and Eden’s Edge will take the stage to perform for thousands of fans.
Rebecca has once again prepared a marvelous vibe room for Meghan Linsey along with Reba McEntire, The Band Perry, and Eden's Edge. The “Bulletproof” hearts will be on sale again tonight. With each heart sold on tour, a portion of the proceeds will go to the Hearts of Hope foundation. Each heart helps the Hearts of Hope foundation share it’s mission to educate for the prevention of abuse. Each heart sold helps heal a broken heart caused by abuse.
After tonight’s show, Rebecca will prepare to travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the next stop on Reba McEntire’s “All the Women I am” tour. Pictures and updates will be posted on the Rebecca Lawlor Limited official Facebook and Twitter so make sure you check back with us!

Last weekend while the Cardinals were winning the Worldseries, Rebecca Lawlor was in St. Louis, Missouri winning the hearts of country music fans. Rebecca has been blessed to have the opportunity to join Meghan Linsey of Steel Magnolia as her "meet and greet" room designer on Reba McEntire's "All the Women I am" tour. In addition to Reba McEntire and Meghan Linsey, the tour includes The Band Perry and Eden's Edge

This opportunity allows Rebecca to exhibit her individual sense of design while also allowing her the chance to share the mission of the Hearts of Hope foundation. Several lucky fans of the country music artists on the Reba McEntire tour have the opportunity to win Rebecca's signature glass heart, as seen on Meghan Linsey during her shows, through local radio promotion. Also, fans are able to purchase Rebecca Lawlor Limited's Black "Bulletproof" hearts on tour. These "Bulletproof" hearts are meant to characterize the elements of Meghan Linsey's latest single, “Bulletproof”.
Rebecca had an amazing time in St. Louis and the "meet and greet" room was a success! We only expect more amazing things to come in the future. Make sure you stay up to date with this blog and Rebecca Lawlor Limited's official Facebook and Twitter because this weekend Rebecca and the "All the Women I am" tour are headed to Nebraska, Okalahoma, and Kansas!

Rebecca Lawlor Limited hearts and handbags were on sale during the event. The signature glass hearts were sold on a limited edition purple ribbon, a color chosen in memorandum of the young girls whose spirits live on through Rebecca, Maria, and many others. Proceeds from the sale of Rebecca Lawlor pieces during the 'A Heart FoRe! GRACE' fundraiser will be allocated to FoRe!, the Hearts of Hope Foundation, and a chosen family who is in need after the loss of a child.

This weekend was a very exciting event for Rebecca as she prepares to begin her next adventure. Rebecca Lawlor Limited will be joining Meghan Linsey of Steel Magnolia as her gifting suite designer on Reba McEntire’s “All the Women I Am” tour with The Band Perry, and Eden’s Edge.
